I was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up for the most part in the American Southwest. Now I reside in Salt Lake City, UT where I perform exciting cryptographic research surrounding zero-knowledge proof systems.

About Me

I am a PhD student at the University of Utah’s Kahlert School of Computing. I am fortunate to be advised by Pratik Soni.

As a computer scientist and mathematician, my research touches both theoretical and applied computer science.

Currently, I study zero-knowledge proof systems, (i.e. SNARKs) and attempt to make them more time and space efficient in terms of prover overhead while maintaining reasonable verification demands, especially where our primitives can be post-quantum. I am also interested in the usability of zero-knowledge systems, and other aspects of their practical realization apart from prover and verifier time. Generally, I am interested in developing efficient privacy preserving systems to accommodate an internet which can be decentralized and trustless.

New paper: Succinct Arguments with (almost) Minimal Time and Space Overheads from Symmetric-Key Primitives is now available on ePrint. You can view it here.
